If "Linux" takes the company's information, which is confidential information that the general public cannot access and is also commercially useful, to give to a competitor, such action may be considered a violation of the Trade Secrets Act 2002, Section 33, "Disclosure of another's trade secrets to the public, whether with the intention of causing damage to business operations and regardless of the method used, is punishable by imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or a fine not exceeding 200,000 baht, or both." The owner of the trade secrets also has the right to sue for compensation.
